India to decide on overseas analysis of Air India crash flight recorders

India's AAIB is considering sending the black boxes from the Air India crash abroad for analysis, though no final decision has been made. The data recorders were recovered but may have been damaged in the fire, prompting the consideration of sending them to the US for decoding.
