Gunmen storm Mexican village hall and shoot dead mayor

Gunmen shot dead the mayor of San Mateo Piñas, Mexico, during an attack at the village hall where she was meeting with a local official. The gunmen arrived on motorcycles and targeted Mayor Lilia Gema García Soto and another official, Eli García Ramírez, injuring two municipal police officers in the process.
