Disney pulls channels from YouTube TV over fee dispute

Disney has pulled its channels, including ESPN, ABC, and others, from YouTube TV as the two companies clash over licensing fees. YouTube TV subscribers in the US are now unable to access Disney-owned channels, such as National Geographic and Disney Channel, due to the fee dispute. The blackout, affecting about 10 million subscribers, occurred after unsuccessful negotiations between Disney and Google-owned YouTube TV, with Disney alleging that the platform refused to pay fair rates for the content.
