Crowds cheer 100th annual wild pony swim

Chincoteague wild ponies complete 100th annual swim across Assateague Channel in Virginia. Dating back to 1925, "Saltwater Cowboys" guide the ponies as they swim, a tradition managed by the Chincoteague Fire Department. The event includes an auction of foals to control herd size and support a healthy pony population on Assateague Island.
