An Islamic State affiliate carried out a deadly attack in the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing dozens of churchgoers in Komanda. The Allied Democratic Forces, now linked to IS, looted and set fire to nearby shops during the attack. The ADF, originally from Uganda, has now shifted its operations to DR Congo and is known for targeting civilians of all religions.
