Zoo worker killed by tiger in Jerusalem

A tragic incident at Jerusalem Biblical Zoo resulted in the death of a zoo worker, Uriel Nuri, who was attacked by an escaped tiger during a visitor tour. The carnivores team head suffered severe injuries and passed away despite efforts in the trauma unit at Hadassah University Hospital-Ein Kerem. Investigations are ongoing with Israeli police to determine how the tiger got out of its enclosure. The zoo is closed to the public following the incident.
