Woman's shock as goose smashes through front door

A woman in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, was startled when a Canada goose crashed through her front door. The bird, believed to have misjudged its landing due to tiredness, spent the night in the porch before being rescued by Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital with minor injuries. Despite the unexpected break-in, the goose is expected to make a full recovery and be released back into the wild. The homeowner has since boarded up her front door and is arranging repairs.
