Woman and three teens arrested over M&S and Co-op cyber-attacks

Four individuals have been arrested by the National Crime Agency (NCA) in connection with cyber-attacks on M&S and the Co-op, leading to disruptions in their operations. The suspects, including a 20-year-old woman and three males aged between 17 and 19, were apprehended on suspicion of various offenses like Computer Misuse Act violations, blackmail, money laundering, and involvement in organized crime. The arrests mark a significant development in the investigation, with electronic devices being seized, and further actions being taken to identify and bring those responsible to justice for the attacks that have cost M&S an estimated £300m in lost profits.
