An 81-year-old man accidentally drove his car down Rome's iconic Spanish Steps, a historic monument famous for its architectural beauty. Emergency services had to use a crane to remove the vehicle since the landmark is not designed for vehicle access. The driver, who tested negative for alcohol, claimed he was heading to work when the incident occurred.
