Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupted on November 9, shooting a massive fountain of lava into the air. The US Geological Survey reported the volcano erupted for nearly 5 hours, with lava reaching heights of 1000-1100ft (300-330 m). This marks the 36th eruption episode since December 2024, solidifying Kilauea's status as one of the world's most active volcanoes.
