Watch: Inside the lab analysing the world's oldest ice

Ice cores from Antarctica, extracted 2.8km deep, have been brought to the British Antarctic Survey for study after a laborious extraction process. Scientists are now working tirelessly to analyze the ancient ice cores, some over 1.5 million years old, by melting them down.
