US-Mexico border wall to be painted black to make it hotter and harder to climb

The US-Mexico border wall will be painted black to deter climbers, as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirms. This decision comes as $46m has been allocated for additional wall construction under the Trump administration. The administration is also planning to enhance border security with more waterborne infrastructure along the Rio Grande.
