Thousands of students report sexual violence at university

Thousands of students in England report sexual violence and harassment in a sector-wide survey by the Office for Students (OfS). Women, LGBT students, and those with disabilities were more likely to experience sexual misconduct. The survey prompted new guidelines for universities to prevent and address harassment, including training staff and students and publishing policies. A ban on non-disclosure agreements in cases of misconduct has also been implemented.
