Tate Modern announces late-night weekend openings

Tate Modern is extending its weekend opening hours starting in September, staying open until 21:00 BST on Fridays and Saturdays. The move aims to attract more young visitors, following the success of the Tate Modern Lates events that have drawn over 750,000 attendees since 2016. Director Karin Hindsbo believes the later hours will make the gallery more accessible and enhance London's cultural scene, with ongoing curated events continuing monthly.
