Sarah Snook and Nicole Scherzinger win top prizes at Tony Awards

Nicole Scherzinger and Sarah Snook were among the winners at the Tony Awards, with Scherzinger taking home the best actress in a musical award for her role in Sunset Boulevard, and Snook winning best leading actress in a play for her performance in a one-woman adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray. Other winners included Darren Criss for best actor in a musical for Maybe Happy Ending and the play Purpose winning best play. The ceremony, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, celebrated the best in US theatre, including musical revivals and diverse performances.
