Russian volcano erupts for first time in more than 500 years
The Krasheninnikov Volcano in far eastern Russia has erupted for the first time in over 500 years, with a massive ash plume reaching up to six kilometers. This eruption may be linked to recent large earthquakes in the region, including an 8.8 magnitude quake last week, causing tsunami warnings in multiple areas. Despite the volcanic and seismic activities, there are currently no threats to nearby populated areas, as confirmed by Russia's emergency ministry.
