Russell Brand pleads not guilty to rape and assault

Russell Brand pleads not guilty to rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault charges in London court. The 49-year-old comedian, broadcaster, and actor faced Southwark Crown Court, formally denying the five allegations dating back to between 1999 and 2005. Brand is set to go to trial on June 3, 2026, regarding offenses against four women, including oral rape, rape, indecent assault, and sexual assault in central London and Bournemouth.
