Ripley's revealed as buyer of $12m golden toilet

Ripley's Believe It or Not! bought a $12 million golden toilet, created by artist Maurizio Cattelan, at auction. The fully functional toilet, made of 18-carat gold, was initially stolen from Blenheim Palace in 2019 after being displayed at the Guggenheim museum. Ripley's revealed themselves as the buyer on Instagram and is now considering allowing guests to use the luxurious toilet at their oddities museums worldwide.
