Post-Brexit £51m border control post to sit empty

The Welsh government has announced that the £51m border control post near Holyhead port in Anglesey, built for post-Brexit checks, will remain empty. Despite receiving funding for construction and completion, the facility might not be needed due to a new UK-EU deal that could eliminate the need for many checks on imports.
