Police to deploy dedicated drone team for Notting Hill Carnival

British Transport Police will deploy a dedicated drone team for the first time at the Notting Hill Carnival, featuring advanced cameras including thermal imaging. The drones will help identify individuals from up to 80m away, enhancing safety measures for the estimated two million attendees. Alongside extensive CCTV coverage and facial recognition technology, authorities aim to ensure crowd safety and reduce criminal activities during the Europe's largest street party.
