Former nurse Colin Campbell, previously known as Colin Norris, has lost his appeal against convictions for murdering four elderly hospital patients by injecting them with insulin. The Court of Appeal upheld his life imprisonment sentence for killing Doris Ludlam, Bridget Bourke, Irene Crookes, and Ethel Hall in Leeds in 2002. Despite claims of new evidence supporting natural causes of death, senior judges affirmed the safety of Campbell's convictions in a case that has spanned over a decade.
