Number of arrests at Palestine Action protest rises to more than 500

Over 500 arrests were made at a London protest in support of banned group Palestine Action, with most arrests for displaying placards. The protest, the largest since the group was proscribed in July, resulted in charges against some individuals. The Metropolitan Police, working with its counter-terrorism team, is preparing case files to secure charges, with protests organized by Defend Our Juries leading to multiple arrests as demonstrators chanted against officers.
