Newcastle near deal to sign Aston Villa's Jacob Ramsey for £40m. The clubs are in advanced talks, with an agreement in principle reached pending final details. Ramsey, 24, will undergo medical before moving to St James' Park. Newcastle also completed deals for winger Anthony Elanga, defender Malick Thiaw, and loaned England goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
