New strict rules for Botox, filler and BBL providers

The UK government is set to implement stricter regulations in the non-surgical cosmetic industry to crack down on rogue practitioners and protect consumers from harmful procedures like Brazilian butt lifts (BBLs), fillers, and Botox. Plans include licensing requirements for clinics, age restrictions on certain treatments, and strict safety standards for practitioners. Health Minister Karin Smyth aims to eliminate "cosmetic cowboys" in the industry, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding individuals' well-being.
