National Trust covers artwork referencing JK Rowling after tampering
The National Trust has covered up an artwork at Hardwick Hall that featured JK Rowling's name after a member of the public tampered with it. The artwork invited visitors to stitch names of celebrated women onto it, but Rowling's name was stitched over and later uncovered by activist Jean Hatchet. The artist behind the artwork, Layla Khoo, collaborated with the University of Leeds and the National Trust for the project, which included names like Rosa Parks and Taylor Swift besides Rowling's.
