Convicted triple-murderer Erin Patterson allegedly attempted to poison her husband with tainted food, including cookies claimed to be baked by their daughter, a court has revealed. The Australian woman was found guilty of using toxic mushrooms in a beef Wellington to murder three relatives and attempt to kill another. Pre-trial hearings allowed for the disclosure of the alleged murder attempts against her husband, Simon Patterson, who had suspicions of a years-long campaign to poison him with various foods. Patterson is now in jail awaiting sentencing for her crimes, which also involved the deaths of three other individuals.
