Morrissey, former front man of The Smiths, cancels US shows following a death threat in Canada. A 26-year-old man allegedly threatened to kill the singer before his Ottawa performance. Despite the threat, the concert proceeded, but subsequent shows in Massachusetts and Connecticut were cancelled. Morrissey, born Steven Morrissey, left The Smiths in 1987 for a solo career.
