Man who murdered boy with sword jailed for 40 years

A man has been sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in prison for murdering a 14-year-old schoolboy with a samurai sword in east London. Marcus Monzo also injured five others, including two police officers, during a 20-minute rampage. The judge described the attack as having an "unsurvivable wound" on the victim, Daniel Anjorin, whose family expressed that no verdict or sentence can bring back their son.
