Man arrested over husband and wife's 1993 farmhouse murder

An 86-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the 1993 farmhouse murder of Harry and Megan Tooze in Llanharry, Rhondda Cynon Taf. The couple was found dead with gunshot wounds in a cow shed more than 30 years ago. South Wales Police made the arrest following a forensic review of the cold case in 2023. The case, which had led to the conviction and later release of their daughter's boyfriend, remains one of Wales' most notorious unsolved murders.
