Lions prop Fagerson ruled out of Australia tour

Scotland prop Zander Fagerson will miss the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia due to a calf injury, as confirmed by his club Glasgow Warriors. The 29-year-old, who last played in early April, had to sit out Glasgow's recent match against Leinster in the United Rugby Championship play-off semi-final. Fagerson, who has over 70 caps for Scotland, featured for the Lions in South Africa in 2021 and faced Sigma Lions. The Lions' tour will include Tests against Australia on July 19, 26, and August 2, along with seven other matches.
