The criminals attempted to extort the nursery chain but later removed the posts and apologized for their actions. The hackers, known as Radiant, expressed concern over the public outcry and have allegedly deleted all stolen child data, including images and contact information for parents. The nursery, Kido Schools, did not pay the ransom, leading to the hackers abandoning their extortion attempt.
