Gout, 17, sets Australian record at Golden Spike

Australian sprinter Teenager Gout Gout set a new record in the men's 200m at the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, clocking 20.02 seconds on his senior international debut, surpassing performances by Usain Bolt. Gout, compared to the legendary Bolt, has transitioned to senior level after dominating youth events and signing with Adidas. The young athlete will prepare for the World Championships in Tokyo by competing at the Monaco Diamond League meet in July.
