French woman Gisèle Pelicot, known for bravely testifying at her mass-rape trial, has received France's top honor, named as a knight of the Legion of Honour. Pelicot made headlines by waiving her right to anonymity during the trial against her husband for drugging and sexually assaulting her. This move earned her international recognition and now the prestigious award at the age of 72. She was among 589 individuals bestowed with France's highest award on Sunday.
