Five England players nominated for Women's Ballon d'Or

Five players from England's Euro 2025-winning squad, including Captain Leah Williamson and Lucy Bronze, have been nominated for the Women's Ballon d'Or, with Chelsea full-back Bronze playing with a fractured leg. Additionally, Michelle Agyemang is nominated for the Women's Kopa Trophy, and Hannah Hampton is a nominee for the Women's Yachine Trophy for best goalkeeper. The awards will be announced in Paris on 22 September.
