Ex-England batter and ECB boss Morris dies
Former England and Glamorgan batter and ECB chief executive Hugh Morris has passed away at 62 after battling bowel cancer. Morris, a successful opening batter, led Glamorgan to the 1993 Sunday League title and had a notable career with England A. He later played a key role in the ECB's success and then returned to Glamorgan as CEO, where he helped with financial stability and the establishment of the Welsh Fire franchise at Sophia Gardens.
