Duke of Marlborough charged with intentional strangulation

The Duke of Marlborough, Charles James Spencer-Churchill, has been charged with intentional strangulation in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The 70-year-old aristocrat is accused of attacking the same person three times over an 18-month period. Spencer-Churchill, a relative of Sir Winston Churchill and Princess Diana, is set to appear before Oxford magistrates. The incidents allegedly occurred between November 2022 and May 2024.
