Denise Welch surprised with special soap award

Actress Denise Welch surprised with special soap award for appearances in Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, and EastEnders. Welch received the CHEE award, acknowledging her roles in multiple soaps, presented by Martin Kemp and Shirlie Kemp. The British Soap Awards ceremony also saw EastEnders winning eight prizes, including best British soap.
