Dartford Labour councillor Ricky Jones pleads not guilty to encouraging violent disorder after allegedly calling for far-right protesters to have their throats cut at a demonstration in Walthamstow. The court heard Jones referred to protesters as "disgusting Nazi fascists," with videos of the event shown to jurors. Prosecution claims Jones was "rabble rousing" a large crowd in a setting where violence could have been anticipated, amid national tensions and fears of disorder.
