Cavers safe after 30-hour rescue during Storm Amy

Three men were rescued after being stranded for over 30 hours in Dowber Gill Passage during Storm Amy in North Yorkshire. The challenging cave rescue involved more than 100 volunteers coping with rising water levels, flooding, rough terrain, and deteriorating weather conditions. The exhausted but uninjured cavers were safely brought to the surface after a grueling ordeal thanks to the efforts of multiple rescue teams and strategic planning.
