Boy, 15 , becomes youngest to swim solo from Northern Ireland to Scotland

15-Year-Old Teen Makes History as Youngest North Channel Solo Swimmer from NI to Scotland Oscar Black, a 15-year-old athlete from Lurgan, County Armagh, recently completed the iconic North Channel swim from Northern Ireland to Scotland solo. Overcoming jellyfish stings, strong currents, and mental challenges, Oscar swam a total of 46km in 16 hours and 38 minutes. Supported by swimmer Jessika Robson, Oscar made history and shared that all the challenges were worth it in the end.
