Big Mags: The paedophile-hunting granny who built a heroin empire

Big Mags, also known as Margaret Haney, became a media sensation for driving a convicted child sex offender out of the Raploch estate in Stirling back in 1997. As her popularity rose, it was revealed that Haney and her family were involved in a criminal enterprise, leading to her being run out of the estate by an angry mob. Later, she was exposed as a major heroin dealer, leading to her arrest, conviction, and a 12-year prison sentence in 2003.
