At-home cervical screening tests offered in England

NHS England is set to provide at-home HPV tests to women to increase cervical screening participation among those who have delayed testing. The test kits will allow women aged 25-64 to self-sample for HPV, helping to address barriers like embarrassment or lack of time. The initiative aims to boost screening rates and detect cervical cancer earlier for improved survival chances, with a trial showing potential to increase screening proportion to 77%.
