The Court of Appeal has denied a request to give Nicholas Prosper, a teenager who murdered his mother and siblings, a whole-life order preventing his release from prison. Prosper, now 19, received a 49-year minimum sentence for the murders in Luton. Despite an appeal to impose a whole-life order, the court referenced Prosper's young age and the extended period of incarceration he will face before being eligible for parole, leading to the rejection of the request.
