Almost 600 killed in south Syria violence, monitoring group says
A recent outbreak of violence in southern Syria has resulted in the deaths of 594 people, including members of the Druze and Bedouin communities. The conflict, marked by sectarian tensions, led to significant casualties on both sides, with government forces implicated in summary executions. The UK-based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights provided details of the violence, which was sparked by a dispute between the Bedouin and Druze groups in Suweida province.
