'African tribe' who camped in Scottish woodland evicted
A self-styled African "tribe" calling themselves the Kingdom of Kubala has been evicted from council-owned land in the Scottish Borders. The group had claimed they were reclaiming land stolen from their ancestors but were forcibly removed by police and immigration officials. The eviction was streamed live on TikTok as the members, Ghanaian Kofi Offeh and Zimbabwean Jean Gasho, were led away from their camp, which had gained attention on social media with over 100,000 followers on platforms like TikTok and Facebook.
