A new ticketing law could ban resales above face value. How much will fans save?

New ticketing laws aim to ban resale above face value and cap service charges. The rules will prevent touting and require platforms to monitor compliance. Fans could save £37 per ticket on average and collectively save £112m annually. Some concerns exist about the potential for pushing ticket reselling to unregulated sites, while fan-to-fan platforms like Twickets support the changes. Dynamic pricing will still be allowed, but companies must be transparent about it with fans.
