GCSE results day 2025 is on Thursday, 21 August, with grades released from 08:00 BST. Students in England may receive results via a new app from 11:00 BST. Grades are now numerical, with 4 considered a "standard pass" and 5 a "strong pass." Students unhappy with their grades can appeal through their school, and resit exams the following year.
