New AI voice tool trained to copy British regional accents

British firm Synthesia has developed a new AI voice-cloning tool called Express-Voice, specifically trained to replicate a variety of UK regional accents accurately. The tool uses a database of UK voices gathered over a year to generate synthetic voices or clone real people's accents. This innovation aims to provide more authentic regional representations in various applications like training videos, sales support, and presentations, addressing the common issue of AI voices sounding similar due to biased datasets from North American or southern English sources.
