Ticketmaster, Live Nation face US suit over resale tactics

Ticketmaster and Live Nation face a US lawsuit over allegedly participating in illegal ticket resale tactics. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and seven states have accused the entertainment giants of coordinating with brokers to resell concert tickets at marked-up prices, resulting in millions of dollars in losses for consumers. This is the latest challenge for Ticketmaster, which controls 80% of major concert venues' ticket sales and has faced scrutiny over its business practices.
