The group helping cut fuel bills for those in need

Upper Don Community Energy, based in Sheffield, helps households in fuel poverty by providing free door curtains, draught excluders, LED bulbs, and insulation. With funding to assist up to 50 more households in the area, the group aims to reduce energy bills and improve warmth for residents. Through partnerships with local organizations and volunteers, UDCE addresses fuel poverty in the Yorkshire and Humber region, offering practical solutions to make homes more energy-efficient and comfortable.
